At the heart of its commitment to creativity, the Fondation Zinsou's artistic residency program, launched in 2007, aims to support, encourage and promote contemporary creation in Africa and worldwide.

The program is open to all artists, and selection is based on a portfolio. The Fondation Zinsou provides selected artists with the space, time, support, resources and equipment they need to create their artistic project. Residencies take place in Ouidah or Cotonou, Benin. The residencies restitutions can take many different forms: exhibitions, workshops, editions, workshops, conferences and debates, etc.

Since 2007, a number of artists have taken part in the residency program, including Baudouin Mouanda, Andrew Esiebo, Cristina De Middel and Bruno Morais, Ananias Leki Dago, Jeremy Demester, Fabrice Monteiro, Laeïla Adjovi, Ishola Akpo and Aïcha Snoussi.

If you are an artist and would like to apply to take part in the residency program, please send your portfolio, covering letter and artistic project to: information@fondationzinsou.org
