At the heart of its commitment to creation, the artistic residency program set up by the Zinsou Foundation since 2007 aims to support, encourage and promote contemporary creation, in Africa and around the world.

This program is open to all artists and the selection is made on file. The Zinsou Foundation provides selected artists with the space, time, support, resource persons and equipment necessary for the creation of their artistic project. The residencies take place in Benin in the cities of Ouidah or Cotonou. Restitution of residences can take very different forms: exhibitions, workshops, publications, workshops, conferences-debates, etc.

Since 2007, several artists have participated in the residency program, for example: Baudouin Mouanda, Andrew Esiebo, Cristina De Middel and Bruno Morais, Pauline Guerrier, Ananias Leki Dago, Jeremy Demester, Fabrice Monteiro, Laeïla Adjovi, Ishola Akpo, and Aïcha Snoussi .

You are an artist and you wish to submit your application to participate in the residency program, send your book, cover letter and artistic project to:information@fondationzinsou.org
