Tradition in southern Benin has it that “the artist who received the blessing of the genius Aziza had the ability to understand the visible world and the invisible world, and the ability to move from one world to another without being affected. Indeed, art has this ability to connect the human being to his soul and his interiority, it is the unity of the sensitive and the spiritual. The imagination, the dream, the unconscious, the visions, the links created with the beyond, are all immaterial and mysterious flows present in the creative process and in the themes approached by the seventeen artists presented in the "Aziza" exhibition, such as for example Ishola Akpo, Jérémy Demester, Lyndi Sales, Frédéric Bruly Bouabré, Kenny Dunkan, Joël Andrianomearisoa, Romuald Hazoumè or Louis Oké-Agbo.
